Framework agreement with Vindafjord municipality
Omega 365 Areal has signed an agreement with Vindafjord municipality for the provision of services in the field of areal planning. Department Manager for Planning, Elisabeth Silde, sees the agreement as an exciting addition to their business.

"First and foremost, the agreement means we will have a steady supply of assignments throughout the contract period. The agreement will also bring with it tasks that we do not receive from private clients. Work within area planning is usually handled internally by the municipality, so it will be very interesting for us to be part of this; we get to challenge ourselves in new areas. In addition, we are very pleased to have entered into an agreement with the local municipality where we are headquartered.”
Kjerstina Særsten, an area planner in Omega 365 Areal, will be Vindafjord municipality’s contact person in Omega 365 Areal. She looks forward to assisting Vindafjord municipality in their daily operations.
"The municipality currently has insufficient capacity, as they are working on a new municipal development plan; this is the reason the contract is needed. In order to ensure effective operations and safety whilst carrying out the usual tasks, they have sought assistance from us.”
The agreement has a duration of two years with a one-sided option for Vindafjord municipality to extend the contract for a one year. Omega 365 Areal will also assist with the new municipal development plan, including the creation of an area strategy and the development of a new area plan for Skjold and Ølen.
“We look forward to taking on these tasks, especially as we have employees who have experience with similar projects. We have, for example, Magnus Dyngen, who is a newly-hired landscape architect. During his studies, Magnus contributed to the municipality’s previous planning work. It is exciting expertise like this that we can contribute with in this work," Særsten concludes.

Rammeavtale med Vindafjord kommune
Omega 365 Areal signerte i slutten av juni en avtale med Vindafjord kommune om leveranse av tjenester innen arealplanlegging. Avdelingsleder for plan, Elisabeth Silde, ser avtalen som et spennende tilskudd.
– Først og fremst betyr avtalen en jevn tilførsel av oppdrag gjennom kontraktsperioden. Samtidig vil avtalen føre med seg oppgaver som vi ikke har fra private ellers. Kommuneplanarbeid er det i utgangspunktet kommunene som håndterer selv, så derfor er det veldig interessant for oss å være med på dette. Vi får utfordret oss på andre områder. I tillegg er vi veldig glade for å ha inngått en avtale med kommunen hvor vi har hovedkontor.
Kjerstina Særsten som jobber som arealplanlegger i Omega 365 Areal, blir kontaktpersonen mot kommunen. Hun ser frem til å arbeide med Vindafjord kommune i deres planarbeid.
– Bakgrunnen for avtalen er ifølge forespørselen at kommunen per nå har for liten kapasitet da de jobber med ny kommuneplan. For å sikre drift og trygghet i gjennomføring av de vanlige oppgavene, har de søkt bistand hos oss.”
Avtalen har en varighet på to år med en ensidig opsjon for Vindafjord kommune om forlengelse et år. Omega 365 Areal skal også bistå i arbeidet med ny kommunalplan, der arealstrategi og utarbeidelsen av en ny områdeplan for Skjold og Ølen er signalisert å være en del av oppgavene.
– Vi ser frem til å gå løs på oppgavene og vi har også ansatte som har arbeidet med lignende arbeid tidligere. Blant annet er Magnus Dyngen nyansatt landskapsarkitekt hos oss, og som student har han bidratt hos kommunen tidligere. Dette er spennende kompetanse vi tar med oss i arbeidet, avslutter Særsten.
