General Manager for Omega 365 Solutions, Svein Tore Haraldseid, explains that Omega 365 has further developed the project management system over the past year. This work has resulted in a new version of Omega 365, supported by Innovation Norway, which several customers now have in place. Haraldseid sees no dark clouds on the horizon for the system.

“We have never had a better outlook so far into the future as we have now. The world needs energy; companies demand our management programs, which can also be adapted to the renewable energy sector, mining sector, and other industries.”

Haraldseid now hopes that a large-scale recruitment campaign will provide results.

“We are looking for talented students at colleges and universities; it is important for us to focus on young and talented people,” Haraldseid says.

“We take care of our employees and are very aware of the fact that all of our value exists in our people. Employees have the opportunity to establish their career quickly with us and and take on exciting assignments abroad if they want to.”

The available job opportunities are available on our website (these job postings are in Norwegian):

We hope candidates that find these positions interesting will get in touch with us.

Omega 365 is now working hard to find 200 new systems developers and 200 new consultants. The recruitment is for Omega 365’s offices at HQ in Ølensvåg, as well as Stavanger, Bergen, Trondheim, Kristiansund, Oslo, and Haugesund.

The company has managed well through a unique period. Despite the Covid-19 pandemic and strict infection control measures, the economic results in 2020 were impressively good, with a net profit before tax of NOK 124 million.

Omega 365’s CEO, Petter Aalvik, is positive about the company’s future.

“We have a lot of exciting things going on, but in the current situation the future is difficult to predict. Although the pandemic has been difficult, the infection control measures have fortunately ensured that we have only had a handful of infected people in our organization globally. It is exciting to see how our development is progressing. As an innovative company, we are very much looking forward to our employees being able to gather in creative environments again,” Aalvik explained to local newspaper, Grannar, earlier in the year.

Omega 365 has contributed with their project management system and expertise in project implementation for many projects. Two recent Norwegian projects worth mentioning are the Johan Sverdrup field, which is one of the largest developments on the Norwegian continental shelf since the 1980s, and the construction of the new National Museum with Statsbygg. Omega 365’s 1500 employees all work to ensure that Omega 365 is “Big enough to deliver – small enough to care” and have secured results that in 2020 provided the company with a turnover of NOK 1.9 billion.
