HMSREG to recruit new CEO

Systems supplier, HMSREG, is experiencing growth and is now looking to hire a new CEO.

“We continue to receive positive feedback regarding the importance of HMSREG for our clients; we are told that the system has allowed them to gain a better overview of the trustworthiness of suppliers, as well as safety on construction sites,” says HMSREG’s current CEO, Arne Myskja, who has led the establishment of the company.

“In particular, during the past year, several clients have told us how important HMSREG has been in providing an overview of who has visited various sites, in terms of the potential spread of the covid-19 virus.”

Myskja suggests that it as a privilege to address these challenges on behalf of an active construction sector, and for society in general. The HMSREG system was developed by Omega in close cooperation with the Oslo Municipality, based on a public procurement process in 2016. Today, the system has become an industry standard, and is used by a wide range of companies within the construction sector, both in Norway and around the world. HMSREG AS is owned by Infobric AB and Omega AS.

HMSREG works towards achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal number eight, which focuses on decent work and economic growth. In an explanation of this goal, the United Nations states the need to include young generations in the work market, ensure a steady and safe work market, and facilitate more women working, and reduce unformal and black work.

“HMSREG is developed to help achieve these goals. In this work we stand united with our clients, industry organizations, labor organizations, authorities, and others. When every party contributes, we secure good results,” suggests Myskja.

“That is exactly why being CEO of HMSREG is one of the most exciting and challenging jobs out there,” he says, and emphasizes that the company has significant potential for development.

“We have a well-established user community with an active advisory group that contributes to product development with feedback and suggested priorities. This also gives us the opportunity to coordinate resources and facilitate cooperation between builders, contractors and suppliers. We have good opportunities for further market reach in Norway; at the same time, we see increased focus on these issues across Europe. There are good opportunities to take HMSREG outside the Nordic countries to international markets.”
