Our beautiful cabin at Lykkestaden has 8 beds and all the comforts of home. It is located in Hovden, one of Norway's most popular ski destinations.

NB! Smoking prohibited. No pets. 

Remember that check-in is at 17:00 and check-out is at 12:00. If you are leaving on a Sunday and no one is booked after you, you may stay longer than the checkout time as cleaning services arrive on weekdays. Please clarify this with Omega 365 by sending an email to service@omega365.com or calling +47 5377 5377.

Key

In the key cabinet in the entrance hall, you will find keys to the shed and terrace.

Firewood

You will find firewood in the storeroom.

The main water switch is a light gray switch (On/Off) next to the main light switch in the hallway, next to the entrance door, on the left.

Hovden is a year-round tourist centre with attractions including Hegni Park, Hovden Hunting and Shooting Centre, fishing and walking trails.

In the winter alpine and cross-country enthusiasts are attracted to the Hovden Ski Centre and to 132 km of well-prepared cross-country runs. Hovden Badeland is a great year-round attraction, with its open-air and indoor swimming pools for adults and children.

Directions

Driving from North (Haukeli) rv. 9 to Hovden

• Turn toward the ski center
• Drive past the ski center's parking lot
• Continue approximately 300 meters, and turn onto Snarevegen (Lykkestaden) shortly after the exit to Hovden Fjellpark
• Continue on Snarevegen and stay to the left. You will see the cabin on the right side of the road
• The cabin is marked with an Omega 365 sign and nr. 24

Driving from South

• Turn left by Hovden city center
• Drive past the ski center's parking lot
• Continue approximately 300 meters, and turn onto Snarevegen (Lykkestaden) shortly after the exit to Hovden Fjellpark
• Continue on Snarevegen and stay to the left. You will see the cabin on the right side of the road
• The cabin is marked with an Omega 365 sign and nr. 24

Cleaning

Washing and cleaning is done by our own cleaner between stays. We therefore ask that the cabin is left tidy after use. Please clean the stove and other surfaces in the kitchen. If the cleaners need to spend more than two hours cleaning the cabin, the additional expense will be charged to the employee.

On departure

• Make sure you have all your belongings and leave the cabin tidy.
• Dispose of garbage. You will find the garbage shed across from the cabin.
• Leave the floor heating on 20 degrees.
• The refrigerator and freezer must be emptied.
• Remember to shut off the water by pressing OFF on the main water switch in the hallway.
