Panna Project, Clough Oil & Gas

Clough was awarded a contract to develop the shallow water Panna oil field and the South Tapti gas field located North West of Mumbai in the Arabian Sea off India's west coast. The scope of work includes the engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning of three wellhead platforms and modifications to existing platforms and inter-field pipelines. Project completion is expected in 2006.

Perth, Australia

Perth is a vibrant and modern city, located on Australia's South West coast between the Indian Ocean and the Darling Ranges. The capital of the state of Western Australia, Perth has a population of approximately 1.5 million, almost 75 per cent of the people in the state!

Often referred to as the most isolated city in the world, Perth is also over 4400km from Sydney by road and closer to the Indonesian capital of Jakarta than it is to the Australian capital, Canberra.

The city's glassy high rises are built around the Swan River (named after the native Black Swans of the area) that meets the Indian Ocean at the popular, portside Fremantle. Nearby, Northbridge is Perth's hot spot for culture, the Margaret River wine region is a great weekend away and nearby beaches such as Cottesloe and Scarborough offer the opportunity to swim, surf, and Jet Ski.

Like most Australians, people in Perth love their sport. The most popular spectator sports in Perth are Australian Rules football and cricket, with matches played at the famous WACA ground.

Temperatures in Perth can reach the over 40 degrees Celsius in the summer, and winter maximums rarely dip below 15 degrees. Thus, the people of Perth enjoy a relaxed, outdoor lifestyle all year round.
