Dates, romantic dinners, visits to art galleries and long walks by the ocean… do we hear the beating of hearts, or is that just Kenneth's stomach after eating kangaroo, crocodile and emu?

Time flies down here. Only four more weeks before I travel home. Don't feel like going home yet. The Summer has arrived now. It's starting to get really hot!

Normal day at work. Used the evening training and ironing shirts.

After work Ken, Gary and I went to CBC Restaurant. Gary is new in Perth, so he doesn't know many people yet.
At night I was out with Elloise and Mellanie. We got to know them after the rally a coupple of weeks ago.

At work things are moving forward gradually. We have decided to put most focus on the Access part of Pims CMS and move forward with two remote servers. The Web part will be used as an alternative solution.
Today I visited a real Australian restaurant with Ken and Puay. Ordered a big platter, with among other things, damper bread, kangaroo, crocodile and emu. The kangaroo and crocodile tasted very good.

Had a new date with Heeah today. Showed her around my part of town a bit, before we had dinner at a Japanese restaurant. Very nice night.

Friday, 25 November 2005

After work I headed off to The Melbourne Bar with friends from work. A little visit to the pub on Friday afternoon is almost the standard routine down here, very Australian style!

Later in the evening it was out on the town with Heeah, Stuart, Ken and Puay. We ended up at Bar Open, which had a live band tonight.

Saturday, 26 November 2005

An easy Saturday. Spent the day with Heeah and was out at a cafe with Ken.

Sunday, 27 November 2005

Up early to go to Cottesloe Beach with Heeah, Ken and Puay. Beautiful weather today. After a few hours on the beach we continued our Sunday with a trip to Fremantle. There was a festival on there today. Checked out a parade, went to an art museum and had a long walk along the ocean.

Got a bit sunburnt today. Was there slip, slop and slap? (Slip, slop, slap is an Aussie way of remembering what to do to prevent sunburn...'Slip on a shirt, slop on sunscreen and slap on a hat!' - Ed)
