Omega awarded renewed agreement with Aker BP

Omega has been awarded an extended frame agreement to provide personnel to projects and support functions for the next five years.

The agreement spans the next five years and includes the provision of project personnel within disciplines including engineering, project management, project control, supply chain management, cost control and economics, as well as support personnel.

“Aker BP is a large and expansive company that is investing in solutions for the future. We are looking forward to continuing to provide qualified project personnel to Aker BP,” says Kari Marie Usken, Department Manager for Omega’s project personnel business, Omega CS. Usken will, along with colleague and Department Manager, Wenche Tindeland, be responsible for following up the contract. 

Aker BP is an oil and gas company with a range of activities within exploration, development, and operations on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. The company is the operator on the Valhall, Ula, Ivar Aasen, Alvheim, and Skarv fields. Measured by production, Aker BP is one of the largest independently-listed oil companies in Europe. 

“We have worked with Aker BP for many years and it is a declaration of trust that they continue to choose Omega for their project personnel needs,” Tindeland adds.
