Omega`s range of project services

Hanne Lohne and Kjell Arne Waldow`s engagement with Omega signifies an important expansion of our range of service. In 2009 they became Omega`s first employees working with maintenance preparation and spare part evaluation.

– We are happy to have started our venture into this branch of the industry, and we hope that this could develop as a specialist environment in Omega in the longer term, says Omega CEO Petter Aalvik.

Essential processes

Maintenance follow-up and spare part evaluation are services that ties Omega closer to the operations organisations at our clients. Maintenance planning and spare part evaluation are essential processes before completion and hand-over. A maintenance programme and spare part register should also be present at the client company before projects are approved and handed over to operations.

These services are necessary to incorporate early in the project phase, and they need to work with the clients' project and operation organisations in order for the client to deliver in accordance with maintenance strategy and requirements for the installation. Part of the process is helping subcontractors deliver in accordance with specifications in steering documents. The improvement of the suppliers' equipment and package documentation through inspection and advisory service for solutions are also important parts of Kjell Arne and Hanne's challenging jobs.

Stavanger and beyond

Kjell Arne Waldow and Hanne Lohne are working out of our Stavanger office, but especially Kjell Arne is also out on projects for our clients as well. They have already had many requests from potential customers, and experienced that the growth potential is great for Omega in this particular field.
