- Ensure adherence to Albemarle safety Standards throughout commissioning activities.
- Support development and improvement of the safety culture of the Kemerton plant with the goal of zero harm.
- Work collaboratively with both the Albemarle Project and Operation teams.
- Contribute to the shutdown planning for the commission and start-up of Train 3.
- Contribute to the development of the integrated Project schedules.
- Provide input into technical alternatives and ensure resolution of issues relating to operability and maintainability.
- Supply operating, commissioning, and start-up requirements for the cost estimate.
- Participate in HAZOP’s and assist in the resolution of assigned HAZOP items.
- Provide input for development and execution of the following:
- Commissioning schedules
- Commissioning procedures for the Project
- Review technical options to assess HES aspects, including compliance with all regulatory, environmental, health, safety, and community requirements.
- Utilise Management of Change (MOC) processes and procedures during commissioning.
- Review equipment specifications and selections for commissioning, operability, and maintainability requirements
- Uphold the site safety, health, and environmental (HES) requirements for the commissioning.
- Participate in equipment criticality reviews and assist in development of commissioning spare parts requirements.
- Contribute to "punch listing" of all Project facilities during final stage of project implementations (construction) through commissioning.
- Participate in safety walkthroughs and in the completion of the pre-start-up safety review (PSSR)
- Advise spares and consumable needs for commissioning.
- Assist in environmental compliance testing.
- Protect Albemarle information in all new projects and dealings with contractors and sub-contractors.
- Oversee construction and commissioning efforts relating to Electrical scope and lead troubleshooting.
- Review and update Electrical documents and update where required, adhering to Albemarle procedures.
- Assist in resolving plant Electrical issues and concerns, liaising with maintenance and reliability engineers.
- Identify any Project deficiencies for Project team correction.
