Financial Leader

Location: Guyana

Role Summary:

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Financial Leader will play a pivotal role as a trusted team member overseeing financial planning & reporting, treasury, taxation, investments, commercial activities, business processes, systems, and controls services. Integral to the senior leadership team, the Financial Leader will be responsible for driving financial stewardship, managing contracts, overseeing stakeholder relationships, liquidity and working capital management, and ensuring effective business processes and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial planning, reporting, and stewardship processes.
  • Oversee contract management and stakeholder relationships.
  • Manage liquidity and working capital effectively.
  • Drive continuous improvement in business operations and inventory management.
  • Ensure the organization has the structure, people, and functional capability to achieve growth plans and business strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in finance or accounting.
  • Professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA, CA, CMA).
  • Minimum of 10 years’ senior financial leadership experience.
  • Experience in a fast-growing and entrepreneurial organization preferred.
  • Knowledge of the oil and gas industry or industrial environment considered an asset.
